Denmark Stocks Lower at Close of Trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 Down 0.30%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.30% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 2.51% or 11.00 points to trade at 449.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 2.36% or 6.80 points to end at 295.30 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 1.25% or 1.60 points to 129.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 3.79% or 11.40 points to trade at 289.60 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 2.10% or 2.40 points to end at 111.90 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 1.97% or 250.00 points to 12,430.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 72 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.36% or 0.32 to $89.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.13% or 0.12 to hit $93.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 7.95 to trade at $1,947.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.06% to 7.00, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 105.14.
