Croatia’s Osijek to Open 8.5 Mln Euro IT Park in Jan

The city of Osijek, in eastern Croatia, will open in the middle of January 2024 a business centre with a focus on the IT industry, mayor Ivan Radic said.

“The overall value of the building is 8.5 million euro ($9.2 million), of which 4.4 million have been provided as a grant from the European Union funds,” Radic said in a press release on Wednesday.

The IT Park Osijek building has an area of 4,000 square metres and will include a congress hall with 305 seats, 30 offices, and co-working space.

The IT community in Osijek currently has some 1,500 employees, and our goal is to offer this building to smaller companies, which are not strong enough to build their own facilities, Radic added.

Local company Massa is carrying out the construction works.
