The Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, on Sunday, called on Austrian companies to invest in Iraq.
The media office of the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that ” The Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, received the Austrian Ambassador to Iraq Andrea Nasi, to discuss a number of topics of mutual interest”.
“The meeting discussed the latest developments in the local scene, the challenges facing the region and the world, and the need to develop Iraqi-Austrian relations in all fields, as well as the possibility of resuming direct flights between the two countries” the statement added.
” Al-Mandalawi invited the Austrian companies to invest in Iraq and an agreement to establish a Parliamentary Friendship Committee “the statement added.
