Marriott’s design-led AC Hotels brand has debuted in Croatia with the opening of AC Hotel by Marriott Split.
Housed among the top floors of the 135-metre-high Westgate Tower in the heart of Split, the hotel features 214 rooms with views of the city and Adriatic Sea.
There’s also a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, a cocktail bar, gym and spa with an indoor pool and sauna as well as meeting space that can accommodate up to 240 people.
Designed by renowned architect Otto Barić and Croatia-based interior design firm Atellior Studio, the hotel includes “flexible and communal open spaces” that can be utilised for meetings or informal gatherings.
“The opening of AC Hotel by Marriott Split marks an exciting chapter for the local hospitality industry as Marriott International brings the AC brand to Croatia,” said hotel general manager Ljubica Bauk.
“We hope to contribute significantly to the region’s economic growth by attracting business and leisure travellers alike as well as fostering corporate partnerships.”
